Taxi Cab Commission Meeting Announcement Press Release

The Virgin Islands Taxi Cab Commission announces first meeting for 2018.

St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Taxi Cab Commission will hold its first meeting of the year on April 11, 2018 at 10:00AM Commission members will meet at the Department of Tourism Welcome Center Conference Room at 2318 Kronprindsens Gade.

A very ambitious agenda including the following items will be tackled:

Executive Director’s update on the state of the Taxi Cab Commission Post hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Update on the Launch of an interactive Taxi Commission website for taxi operators, passengers and the community,  

Introduction of the multi-agency collaborative effort between the Taxi Cab Commission the Department of Tourism and UVI Center for Life Long Learning (UVICELL) to conduct classes for new and current taxi operators.

Update on the Taxi Credit Card Campaign and related industry opportunities necessary to prepare Taxi Operators for emerging industry trends and 21st Century transportation services.
